Information we collect
Information you provide directly. When you submit our "Get 3 Free Quotes" form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, city/location, a description of your water damage situation, and any additional notes you choose to add. We only collect this when you submit the form yourself — we don't collect it passively.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and site-operation purposes. If we add analytics or advertising services in the future (see "Advertising" below), those services may set cookies or use similar technology to understand site usage and serve relevant ads.
How we use your information
- Quote requests: Information submitted through our quote form is used to connect you with local water damage restoration companies who can provide quotes for your project. We forward this information to one or more restoration company partners so they can contact you directly.
- Site operation: Technical information helps us keep the site running securely and understand which content is useful to visitors.
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or use it for unrelated marketing campaigns. We do not share it with anyone outside the specific purpose of connecting you with restoration company quotes, except as required by law.
Advertising
This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense or similar advertising networks. These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. We don't control how third-party ad networks use their own cookies, and this policy doesn't cover their practices beyond what's described here.
Your choices
- You can decline to submit the quote form — nothing on this site requires you to provide personal information to read our guides.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's own ad settings, linked above.
- If you'd like us to delete information you've previously submitted through our quote form, email us at the address below and we'll remove it from our records, though we can't remove information already shared with a restoration company partner before your request.
Data retention
Quote form submissions are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to facilitate the connection with a restoration company and for basic record-keeping. We don't retain this information indefinitely or repurpose it for unrelated uses.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes — for example, if we add new advertising or analytics services. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
